Terms of sale and use

Who you are buying from

Mochi is made and sold by REPLACE, REPLACE (“we”). Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record and reseller for the sale. Dodo Payments’ own terms apply to the payment itself.

What you buy

A founding licence is a one-time purchase of a personal, non-transferable licence to use Mochi, the macOS app, on one Mac. It is not a subscription and does not renew. You get one licence key, delivered on screen after payment and by email where email is set up.

One Mac per key

  • A key activates one Mac. Reinstalling Mochi or macOS on that Mac is fine.
  • To move to a different Mac, write to us.
  • Please do not share, resell or publish your key. We may switch off a key that is.

What Mochi needs

A Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 13 or later. Some features connect to services you choose, with your own accounts and keys: Anthropic, Google, GitHub, Home Assistant and YouTube. Their terms and prices are between you and them, and a feature that depends on one works only while that service does.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Using Mochi

  • Do not reverse engineer the licence check or try to get around it.
  • Mochi can act on other systems (mail, your home) only after you approve each change. You are responsible for what you approve.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make Mochi reliable, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
